On World Disability Day, the Rajni Care Foundation conducted a commendable initiative on 4/12/23, aiming to empower differently-abled individuals under the Divyangjan Empowerment Program. The effort to integrate 110 students from classes 1 to 12 at the "Government Visually Impaired Girls Inter College" on Mohan Road, Lucknow, is noteworthy.
The engaging discussions and awards not only entertained the students but also recognized and rewarded their talents. Kavya, Mahak, and Kajal, despite being visually impaired, showcased their impressive singing abilities, demonstrating confidence and inspiring acceptance for individuals like them.
The student who created sculptures using touch and Aaradhya's unique rhythmic performances added an exceptional and creative dimension to the program. Such activities help showcase the diverse talents and abilities of differently-abled individuals.
Inspections of the college facilities, including hostels, dining halls, and primary medical care, shed light on the clean and organized environment provided to the students. The collaborative efforts of Principal Mrs. Santosh Kumari, teachers, and stock in-charge Mrs. Swayam Singh ensure the smooth operation of the college.
Furthermore, the organization's generous donation of 50 blankets, 50 bedsheet, 150 packs of noodles, 100 packets of biscuits, 20 packets of peanut chikki, and 5 fans exemplifies their commitment to improving the living conditions and comfort of the students.
In conclusion, it's evident that the Disability Empowerment Program has been successful, bringing joy, recognition, and support to the students through collective efforts and positive impacts.
