On 25th December 2024, Rajni Care Foundation Trust organized a painting competition for children aged 5 to 12 years at Sant Kripal Ashram, Haridwar. The aim of this competition was to promote the creativity of children and provide a platform to their talent.

Around 65-70 children participated enthusiastically in the competition. The children were given the theme of drawing a beautiful picture related to nature. All the participants showed their imagination and artistry and made beautiful paintings in drawing notebooks.

Rajini Care Foundation Trust provided all the children with the necessary materials for painting like drawing notebooks, color packets and geometry packets. Two age groups were made in the competition - 5 to 8 years and 9 to 12 years. Prizes were given to the children who got first, second and third place in each category. The prize distribution was done by Mrs. Pushpa Dutta, while all the participating children were given attractive gifts.

During the competition, Ishita Bajaj presented the idea of ​​celebrating 25th December as 'Shaheedi Diwas'. She told that this day should not only be celebrated as Christmas but should also be dedicated to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our country. This idea of ​​Ishita inspired the people present and gave the message of raising awareness.

At the end of the program, Mrs. Priya Bajaj encouraged the children with motivating words and explained the importance of the program to the parents accompanying them. After this, Mrs. Anita Dutta highlighted the works and objectives of Rajni Care Foundation Trust. She urged everyone to join this NGO and contribute to its social work.

After the conclusion of the competition and program, all the children and their parents were served delicious food. Mr. Rajendra Dutta, Mrs. Anita Dutta, Mrs. Priya Bajaj and other members of the Haridwar team – Vinod Azad, Umesh Bose, Vandana Prabhat, Sonika Gulati, Bhavana Anand, Sangeeta Maurya and Rakesh Kumar – played a vital role in organizing the event.

This painting competition not only became a platform for children to showcase their art but also promoted social awareness and creativity in them. This effort of Rajni Care Foundation Trust is commendable and inspiring towards bringing a positive change in the society.
