Spreading Smiles : Children Welfare Program
On 23rd January, Rajni Care Foundation organized a child welfare program at Matrunchal Vidyapeeth, Jagjitpur, Haridwar. This institution functions as an orphanage and boarding school exclusively for girls. Currently, 60 girls aged between 5 to 15 years live here, who are provided education up to 8th standard. Established in the year 2000, this orphanage not only ensures the education of girls, but also takes responsibility for their marriage and career orientation. In addition, some physically challenged children are also a part of this institution. The school is headed by its principal Mamta Agarwal.
The entire program was organized with the support of Shri Rajendra Dutta Ji and in the august presence of Shri Devendra Mohan Ji. On the occasion of Basant Panchami, stitched yellow suits were gifted to the girls. The program also included a food box consisting of laddoos, samosas, biscuits and packed buns. Shri Devendra Mohan Ji boosted the morale of all the girls, participated in activities and games, which made the event lively and engaging. Shri Devendra Mohan Ji also met Mamta Agarwal during the event and appreciated the efforts made for the welfare of the children. The event highlighted the Foundation's commitment to support the nutrition of underprivileged children and their overall development. Special thanks to Shri Rajendra Dutta Ji and Haridwar team for their dedicated efforts in organizing this meaningful event.
